I’ve been using Clean Isolate for about three years, even before the logo change, and it’s been my go-to protein supplement. Earlier this year (2025), I purchased a new jar and noticed something concerning.
On all Clean Isolate products before 2025, the scoop was 80cc, which, when weighed, came out to 32g—matching the nutrition facts label. However, the new jar I just purchased (still 840g total weight) now includes a 94cc scoop, measuring about 40g per serving. This means users are now taking in more than the stated serving size, which not only throws off nutritional accuracy but also causes the product to run out faster.
It’s disappointing to see this change, especially from a local brand I’ve supported and trusted for years. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as transparency and consistency are key for loyal customers like myself.
Their BEC brand whey protein isolate has been creeping up in price for months now. First it was $49 now it's $65. Now the scoop inside is bigger, yet the amount of protein per serving is the same. So you now require more powder to get the same amount of protein, meaning less bang for your buck. This is shrinkflation folks.
Raising the price was honest. Changing the scoop and diluting the protein with more powder (I'm guessing more guar gum) was dishonest!

Scoop sizes/shapes are directly related to manufacteuring & availability at time of batch production. The flavour is not great
I've been using this protein regularly for almost two years. Opened a new tub today and the scoop was significantly bigger than in the old tub. Looked at the label... 1 scoop is still 28g of protein. The container is still 840g. So that means there's more filler per scoop. Shrinkflation has hit this product hard. The price was already going up every time I purchased a new tub (once a month). Now they are diluting the protein inside with filler. Won't be buying this product again due to the dishonestly.
