Recommended dose (adults): Take 1 capsule daily with meals.
Caution:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult with a health care practitioner prior to use if currently taking any oral prescription medications, or have diabetes or a thyroid disorder. Discontinue use if a skin rash or allergic reaction occurs. Grape anthocyanins might inhibit the growth of Lactobacillus acidophilus. Theoretically, concurrent administration might prevent Lactobacillus acidophilus colonization of the gastrointestinal tract; avoid concurrent use. Orally, skin rashes have been reported after use of alpha-lipoic-acid. Adverse effects are more common in patients receiving high intravenous doses. If you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness, and/or confusion, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner (as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar).
