Natural Factors Vitamin A is sourced from cod liver oil, produced using molecular distillation to ensure there is no chemical or heavy metal contamination*.
The vitamin A is in a base of organic flaxseed oil and vitamin E, for additional antioxidant protection*. It's also soy, GMO, wheat, and gluten free.
Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that comes in two basic forms: "regular" vitamin A found in fish oil and animal products, and beta-carotene which is a carotenoid found in plants also known as provitamin A.
