Omega EPA is a pharmaceutical-grade fish oil concentrate containing high levels of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), an omega-3 fatty acid, but negligible levels of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), another omega-3 commonly found in fish oil supplements. Studies show that EPA, and not DHA, supports healthy mood and thought patterns. DHA is at best ineffective, and may even worsen mood and thought patterns.
