Training Coordinator

The Training Coordinator will have an overall responsibility for all Body Energy Club employee training for job duties, internal promotion or job change training, company policies, and procedures. They will evaluate new hire’s training, develop training checklists across all positions, and support onboarding new franchise owners and their staff. This role reports directly to the CEO. 

This role requires someone who is self-organized, has a strong attention to detail, responsible for meeting deadlines, and who has an empathetic mindset to understand and assist people across different learning styles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide an outstanding customer service experience to our team members
  • Assist in the development of training programs across our Smoothie Bar, Nutritional Sales Consultants, Inventory, Assistant Manager, and Store Manager positions
  • Develop and track a skills assessment log for completed training areas
  • Complete full lifecycle training processes for entry level, refreshment, and promotion roles and ensure a positive experience 
  • Support new Franchise Owners with the initial training of their team to align BEC standards
  • Strategize with the HR Manager and District Manager during staffing meetings to identify promotion readiness and develop training plan  
  • Support Store Managers at all corporate locations for leave coverage and as necessary 
  • Manage all team members working at the store by providing leadership and vision of the company’s core values
  • Train and hold team members accountable for knowing and executing all store processes in alignment with company standards and expectations 
  • Effectively delegate tasks to team members to achieve employee engagement 
  • Train staff on updated operational policies and procedures as communicated 
  • Maintain a food safe and sanitary environment

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule availability to work outside of regular business hour operations to support corporate training and new franchise owner onboarding. When not working outside of business operations the schedule availability will be from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • Required and able to travel to the USA to support new franchise owner trainings
  • Maintain constant punctual attendance and contribute to positive team morale 
  • Driver’s license and vehicle preferred

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field relating to retail management or equivalent experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Education or Business Management preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in high volume training within retail industry or Body Energy Club equivalent store experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail management environment required OR retail experience at Body Energy Club with demonstration of job excellence and strong understanding of company policies and procedures. Manager will evaluate fit for open opportunities
  • Proficient in applicant tracking

  • Handles a fast-paced environment, high volume of activity, and a deadline driven focus that remains composed under pressure
  • Outstanding team leadership skills with a proven record of successfully managing an organization through periods of extensive unit expansion and growth
  • Must obtain good verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Goal driven and able to achieve maximum results
  • Strong capability to multi-task under pressure and obtain strong decision-making skills
  • Must be able to work under moderate supervision and troubleshoot team’s questions/concerns
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google Suite, and internet
  • Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels through the company
  • Represent the company at recruiting events (i.e. college job fairs), providing company/real job preview information and interview applicants
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about Body Energy Club products and leading a healthy lifestyle 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Position requires the ability to travel between multiple store locations and USA to support new franchise owner onboarding needs
  • Daily exposure to elements such as noise, dust, variety of food products
  • Daily exposure to physical risks such as working blenders, knives, etc. 
  • Ability to be on your feet for a long-extended part of your day, moving equipment or product up to 30 lbs.; reaching and kneeling daily 
  • See, hear and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette
